MONEY. Tangible symbols in ancient Greece

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, the exhibition “MONEY. Tangible symbols in ancient Greece”, which was jointly organised by the Alpha Bank Numismatic Collection and the Museum of Cycladic Art, came to an end.

The Exhibition featured 85 coins from the Alpha Bank Numismatic Collection as well as 159 objects from 29 Archaeological Museums and Collections in Greece, two Museums in Italy, the British Museum and the Louvre Museum.

The Exhibition further featured the following parallel events:

- Guided tours for Employees, friends and Customers of the Bank as well as Organisations, Associations of Friends of other Museums, students and various other social groups.
- Educational Programmes for Primary and Secondary Education students.
- Educational Programmes for students attending special needs schools and blind persons.
- Lectures by distinguished speakers.

Overall, 10.362 persons visited the Exhibition, which opened on November 2, 2017.
A total of 1.720 students from 76 schools attended the Educational Programmes.
